~Beyond 2010~

We must do more than just survive...

We have crossed the threshhold of a long voyage through dark and narrowed paths, we have slid into the universe and stood on the other half

we have fought battles on foreign land, given them our fathers and brothers before they were men, traded our mothers and sisters along with them

We have walked pass the homeless as though they had the plague, forgotten about the children who are not being fed, We have given away our dignity, distorted our history and altered our destiny

Its time to surrender, yank out the splinter that has poisoned our spirits and minds, today we take with us wisdom from all we have learned, courage from all we have endured and knowledge from all we have overcome

We say goodbye to old friends who have journeyed on and say hellow to new ones we have yet to earn

Let us set aside our differences and release the hate, knock down the boulders that have blocked our way and breathe life into a new day

Let us lay down our arms that have shed so much blood and embrace oneanother with affection and love

Let us put aside our anger, set aside our grief and share in the inheritance of genuine peace, together we may contribut to a new, vibrant rebirth of humanity
